Our goal is help empower and train emerging artists to activate their community.  We help provide artists with the tools to create socially-minded, community uniting public art projects.

Every 11:11 Project incorporates

2 major components:

 

Professional Development:

We will assign an assistant and/or an apprentice to every lead artist contracted by 11:11. This helps grow the creative economy, and train emerging artists.  Many muralists say that they learned how to paint murals by assisting someone who knew more than them.  We provide the opportunity for relationship building, mentorship, and art education.

 

Community Engagement:

Whether it is executing a workshop with the community to help inform your design, or hosting a volunteer painting day, every project produced by 11:11 will engage the artist team with the surrounding community.
