ART+ is a public art and education initiative that empowers young people through the creation of large-scale murals. We foster creativity, self-expression, and youth leadership while addressing pressing social, environmental, and cultural issues through art.
This program also supports creative workforce development by employing emerging artists, assistants, and apprentices in paid public art commissions. Together, we’re building murals—and a more just, expressive, and connected world.

how it works:

WORKSHOPS

COLLABORATION
Students co-develop mural themes and imagery alongside professional artists, sharing stories and ideas.
MURAL CREATION
Artists bring the design to life—with student participation—transforming blank walls, often at their schools, into powerful public art landmarks.
CELEBRATION & ADVOCACY
Each project concludes with a celebration, where student voices are honored and the mural is unveiled to the community.
